Kristen Byrne is a fully licensed Kindermusik teacher. Ms. Byrne was thrilled to find a job that combines two of her passions; taking care of children and being musical.
Ms. Byrne has a Masters degree in Vocal Performance and Music Theory from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She has performed with Opera San Benedetto and Intimate Opera in Chicago. She is currently the cantor and soloist at St. Michael's church in Old Town. Ms. Byrne lives in Chicago and can be reached at KristenByrne@att.net. |

Cathy Glickman "Miss Cathy" is a children's recording artist who released her solo CD, "Mornings with Miss Cathy" in 2005 to rave reviews from tiny children and their families! Cathy has performed in Music Man, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Seussical and The Weddding Singer with Big Deal Productions in Buffalo Grove. She has also sung at Carnegie Hall, Italian cathedrals, numerous corporate events, with the Music Institute Chorale, as a rock vocalist with Tailfin and in basements, parks and community centers as "Miss Cathy" Currently, she is singing cabaret in downtown clubs with Chicago Cabaret Professionals

Marija Growing up in the Chicago region, Marija (Miss Ria) has always had a passion for music and movement, starting with elementary school choir and square dancing. She took up flute at 11 and graduated with her K-12 Music Education degree from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. She has enjoyed singing with the Apollo Chorus of Chicago and Bahai House of Worship Choir among other groups. Marija has been a flutist with the respected Northshore Concert Band since 1992.
Inspired by the Kindermusik classes she attended with her son, she decided that she wanted to use her background to share the philosophies of Kindermusik with other families. She's now a fully licensed Kindermusik educator. To Marija, parents and children together, music, singing, and dancing equals utter joy! |

Diane Naftzger is the founding director of Kindermusik North. She has been a fully licensed instructor since 1997. Her musical training began at an early age
in piano, violin, and voice. She obtained her B.S. from Arizona State University and was selected for the University Choir there. She has performed in numerous musical productions in the western United States.
Upon moving to Chicago, she was an instructor at the prestigious Music Institute of Chicago in Winnetka. She currently resides in Lincolnshire with her husband and two children. You can contact Diane at Diane@KindermusikNorthShore.com. |

Regina Ruocco is a fully licensed Kindermusik educator. She began vocal training at the age of 4, and hasn't stopped singing since. Over the years, she has performed with college, church, and community choirs. Regina also earned a Masters of Library and Information Science in 2003. She put this degree to good use in a local grammar school library, as well as in the Children's Departments of public libraries where she often indulged in her favorite library pastime-storytelling!

Marcelle Lynn Selvaggio Marcie has always known that music would be part of her life. She began playing piano at the age of 2, by imitating her sisters during their piano lessons and discovered her love of singing in high school. Marcie graduated from Illinois State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Music Degree in both Vocal/Opera Performance & Music Therapy. Upon moving to Arlington Heights following graduation, Marcie became the lead Music Therapist for the School District U-46 in Elgin where a grant had been established to fund a large early childhood incentive. Together, with other specialized staff, over 120 classrooms of up to 16 children 3-5 years of age were provided a range of special services including customized Music Therapy programs. Marcie is a licensed Kindermusik Instructor and continues to pursue her musical passion and belief that everyone should experience music as a process not a product. Marcie is in the process of acquiring her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education Degree.
