ABOUT KMNS Kids Music North Shore (formerly “Kindermusik Northshore”)

Kindermusik is an early childhood music and movement curriculum based on the beliefs that every child is musical, that every parent is their child's most important teacher, that the bond between caregivers and their children is the essential place for learning to begin, and that music is a research-proven way to uniquely nurtures a child's cognitive, emotional, social, linguistic, and physical development.

From birth up to 6 years old, your child can thrive and become school and life-ready with KMNS. There’s no pressure to perform, only encouragement and tools to explore, express, and discover! Our caring, highly trained, and licensed educators use research-based techniques to guide your little one in physical development, cognitive development, language development, literacy, problem solving, social skills, self esteem, and musicality.

KMNS / Kindermusik Northshore’s local studio was established by Director Emeritus Diane Naftzger in Chicago’s Northshore communities over 25 years ago. Kindermusik International’s curriculum has existed for over 45 years in countries across the world, making our classes a time-honored experience passed from generation to generation worldwide.
